Two blade sets and six top towers are the first components that have been shipped with the Rotra Mare from Esbjerg to Ostend. In the coming weeks more components will follow from Aalborg (blades), Esbjerg (blades and towers), Cuxhaven (nacelles) and Vietnam (towers), to create a stock of components of maximum 12 nacelles, 36 tower parts and 36 blades. 

This offshore transformer substation is the beating heart of the wind farm. It collects and stabilizes the produced wind energy, transforms the energy to 220 kV high voltage and conducts the electricity to the main land.

The cable, with a length of 40 kilometers, will be placed within a dredged trench on the seabed by a cable laying vessel. A cable laying barge will take over in the shallow waters 6 kilometer before the coast and bring the cable ashore in Zeebruges.
