Otary manages the offshore wind farms during their useful lifespan of 20-25 years. We do this from our base of operations in Ostend. Within this scope, Otary has determined a long-term asset management and wind farm operation strategy.

Our operations team is constantly looking for a balance between maximisation of the wind farm's energy output, the owner's willingness to take risks and the costs associated with the management and maintenance activities. Within this scope, we strive to minimise outages and operational impacts, maximise reliability, availability and energy production and extend the useful lifespan to a maximum at a reasonable cost.

Otary makes use of state-of-the-art equipment and systems for process and quality control, component identification, safety, high voltage operations, work permits and data mining.

We rely on a team with many years of experience and plenty of expertise in conventional energy generation, oil and gas and other offshore and onshore wind farms.
